After a hiatus of three years due to the pandemic, the eagerly anticipated member dinner finally returned. With society gradually returning to normalcy and the relaxation of preventive measures, we were able to host the member dinner successfully on 11 March 2023, with the generous support of various friends and members.

Upon resuming the event, we were cautious, unsure if members, after a long break, would be willing to participate. However, their enthusiastic response dispelled our concerns, showing their readiness to join our activities. The dinner garnered a warm reception from members, with a high number of registrations. We express our gratitude for the support provided by everyone along the way.

In celebration of our 30th anniversary, we hoped to share the joy with more friends and express gratitude to Dr. Charles Chan Kam Kwong, Chairperson of Tunbow Group, and consultants Mr. Cheung Kin Fai, Mr. Alan Tam Ming Tak, Dr. Eric Tam Wing Cheong, Honourary Legal Consultant Mr. Edwin Leung Shun Ying, and Mr. Alex Wong Chi Keung, who took the time to attend the gathering and celebrate this important moment with us. Heartfelt thanks.

The success of the dinner was made possible by the support of our volunteers, including the Hiking and Leisure Volunteer Team and Volunteer in Action (VIA) volunteers. The event emcee was a volunteer from VIA. In addition to supporting various units, the Hiking and Leisure Volunteer Team performed lively and entertaining acts, delighting members. Moreover, the balloon wristbands worn by members that day were carefully crafted by the Hiking and Leisure Volunteer Team as a thoughtful gesture. We sincerely thank all volunteers for their support.

The entertainment lineup included performances by the Hiking and Leisure Volunteer Team and award-winning guzheng player Ko Jing, who played three pieces – “Songs of Fishing Boats at Dusk”, “Fighting the Typhoon”, and “Liuyang River”. Member Yau Hon Ming also serenaded the audience with two popular songs, “HELLO” and “The Sunset is Intoxicated”. Of course, the evening would not be complete without the eagerly anticipated lucky draw segment. Everyone had a joyous evening and left with happy memories.
